Adventures Sport Kilt Golfing: Golf is a disciplined sport. It is a professional sport for a man or we can say that it is a man’s game that needs much perfection and discipline. This professional sport needs a perfect outfit to easily throw the ball with the putter. Golf also needs physical fitness, so that you can throw the ball for a far distance.

Well, the basic outfit for golf is trousers and a t-shirt or a shirt. In a golf tournament, there is a special outfit for a golfer to wear. Now many golfers look to wear comfortable and flexible wear to play this sport. Many people love to wear shorts, kilts and other short bottoms instead of trousers and pants.

Adventures in a Sport Kilt, Golfing

Our 4 member golf team participated in a tournament called the Chamber Golf Tournament. The tournament started at 10 am on 4 September 2020. In addition to us, 4 other teams have also participated in this tournament. The purpose of this tournament was to raise money for charity. This exciting golf tournament took place at Homestead Golf Course in Midway, Utah. A team of four of us donated beautifully embroidered golf towels as well as a custom kilt to the winner of this tournament. This was a memorable golf tournament and mike is the winner of this tournament.

We were in a team of four people, including me, my dad, James, and David. The four of us wore different types of sport kilts. I was wearing a Blackwatch tartan kilt while David wears a Douglas tartan kilt and leather Sporran. My dad was wearing a dress Stewart kilt and James was wearing a Rob Roy tartan kilt.

The other four teams in the tournament wore shorts, trousers, and fancy pants. They were surprised to see our sport kilts and were smiling. One of the teams came up to me and told me how you were feeling in this dress. I talked about the features of kilts and also the leather Sporran. Most people decide that they will play golf next time by wearing hiking kilts.

How We Play

We had our own powerful putters for swings. We took all the golf equipment with us. Our all team members were very excited. We made three holes under 3 and that’s a good start. Our final score is 7 under par 64 as we bogey  all day, with an eagle on 17. The weather was great and we enjoyed playing golf with Kilt. After that we took pictures there and shared our experiences.

About David’s Sporran

Only David from our team wore a Sporran. With this leather Sporran, David did not have any difficulty in playing golf. Because of this Sporran, we put our essentials in it like tees, balls, divot tool,s, and a glove.

Meeting With Some Businessman

It was a social distance tournament with a small award ceremony and we were not at that ceremony. But still there we got a chance to meet big businessmen. I told him about my sports kit, they were very happy to know all this and also praised our Scottish dresses.

About This Adventure

We enjoyed this tournament very much. Everyone had lunch there and took pictures and other teams there also appreciated our kilt. We were quite comfortable in 90-degree weather with our kilt.
